The School Starters’ Hub Project is addressing Secondary Schools and its main Goal is to transform them into Innovation & Creativity Hubs; In this way, they will be interconnected with Research/ Science and Enterprises (Local and European) through the participatory approach of a European Platform.
BUT WHAT ARE INNOVATION & CREATIVITY HUBS ANYWAY?
These Hubs are physical or virtual places, where people meet, exchange ideas, create networks and, among others, they wish to bring together communities with the entrepreneurial world.
It is a collaboration space, based on digital technologies while exploiting scientific and experiential education.
AND WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR SCHOOL STARTERS’ HUB PROJECT?
That during this project’s lifetime, partners will work on transforming schools to Innovation Hubs, which will support students in developing their idea into a project, service/ product that will be visible to the labour market, other schools and stakeholders.
Partners will also detect any inconsistencies that come from the interrelation between school curricula and labour market needs.
