THE EXPECTED PROJECT RESULTS ARE THE FOLLOWING:
- The introduction of innovative teaching methods which will empower the teacher’s professional profile
- The digitalization of Schools by bringing more technological perspectives into classes
- The introduction of Innovative Training Materials (Toolkits)
- The full set up of an innovation European contest, during which the best ideas will be awarded; The partnership wishes to make this an annual event
- The development of a Cooperation between Schools- Corporate World- Local Authorities
- The development of a European pioneering School Hub
The online platform is where all come together, since it represents the digital profile of School Starters Hub project and in this way it maximizes its impact, and ensures not only its transferability but its sustainability as well.
The platform will serve as:
A. NETWORKING TOOL
A networking tool for Schools, local communities in partner’s countries, namely Spain, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria & Cyprus and Enterprises. Seeking new members and enriching this network is one of the top priorities of the project. Additionally, peer networks will be built in European level in order to promote good practices and exchange ideas, experience and initiatives. Last but not least, an International Network will be established, based on the smallest networks (Local & European).
B. UNIQUE POINT OF RESOURCES AND TOOLS COLLECTION
A tank of resources and data will be built in the framework of School Starters’ Hub project, in order to support and disseminate the project outputs and activities. The big picture consists of Hubs around Europe to operate successfully and students to feel confident enough in incorporate skills coming from the Hubs into their future working life.
C. COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE
The platform wishes to develop a growing Community of Practice that will engage stakeholders. This community will be a repository of ideas, resources and learning materials, methodologies and anything that will prove useful for the efficient and effective operation of the platform. Good practices will be shared and will be categorized in order to facilitate the network.
D. DISSEMINATION TOOL
The platform will also serve as the main dissemination tool. The input collected and uploaded will work as an awareness strategy for all secondary schools that aim at being connected with the entrepreneurships and want to upskill and reskill their students. The online platform will serve as a form of OER (open educational resources) but will also have some restricted areas of access: So, the open area will provide students the opportunity to access data, articles, videos etc while the restricted part will host the communication between partners and their school teachers.
